The way out is in

Breathwork, presence and the Freedom Framework, with David Sidley.

Most of us are carrying things we never chose to carry.

Old patterns. Quiet agreements we made with ourselves a long time ago, usually around something painful. They kept us safe once. They run the show now.

This work is a way of putting some of that down. Not by fixing yourself or thinking your way out — but by making it safe enough to feel what’s actually there, and letting the body do what it already knows how to do.

The position

Balance before becoming

Most of this world sells becoming. Manifest it, optimise it, upgrade, unlock.

This is the other way round. You settle first. You put things down first. Whatever you build after that gets built out of steady ground instead of the same fear you started with.

Undoing before doing.

You can understand it completely and still be carrying it

You’ve maybe read the books, or done the therapy. You can see your patterns clearly — where they came from, why they’re there.

And it still hasn’t quite shifted.

That isn’t you getting it wrong. Some of what we carry isn’t held in the thinking — so thinking about it was never going to be the thing that moves it. This works somewhere else.

The Freedom Framework

A way of coming back to yourself

Simple practices — breath, presence, awareness — that create a space steady enough to be honest in.

You start to notice what’s been running underneath. Instead of fixing it, you slow down and let the body feel it. Something softens. What comes through isn’t a conclusion you reasoned your way to — it’s yours, and it’s about your life specifically.

Then it settles into ordinary days. And that’s what changes things.

You don’t have to carry all of it.

No pressure — we’ll just talk and see what feels right.
