How your information is collected, used and looked after when you get in touch or use this website.

Who I amDavid Sidley, Birmingham. I'm the person responsible for your information.
This website belongs to David Sidley, and the work is known as The Freedom Framework, based in Birmingham, UK. If you share any personal information with me here, I'm the person responsible for looking after it. If you ever have a question about your information, or anything on this page, email me at hello@thefreedomframework.co.uk and I'll be glad to help.
Information I collectOnly what you choose to give me. The check-in never leaves your browser.
I only ever hold information you choose to give me. Usually that's your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the contact form. If you sign up to the newsletter, I hold your email address. And if you enquire about or book a session, you may share a little about your health or what's bringing you here — I treat that with particular care, and only use it to support you safely.
If you take the two-minute check-in, your answers stay in your own browser — they are never sent to me, and nothing is stored. Only if you ask for your practice at the end do I receive your first name and email address, so that I can send it to you.
How I use itTo reply to you, to run sessions and events, and — only if you asked — to send you things.
I use your information simply to do what you came here for: to reply to you, to arrange and hold sessions or events, to keep you safe during the work, and — only if you've asked me to — to send you the occasional email. I never sell your information, and I never share it for marketing.
To run this work I rely on a few trusted services. The website is hosted on Vercel, with the domain registered through GoDaddy. My email is provided by Google Workspace, and any message you send through the contact form arrives in my inbox there. When you book a call with me, the scheduling is handled by Calendly. If you subscribe to the newsletter, it's sent using Kit, and any email I send you — a reply, a booking note, or a practice you asked for — goes out through Resend. Your information only ever reaches these providers so they can do their part, and each is required to handle it responsibly.
Legal basisBecause you asked me to, and because it's necessary to respond to you properly.
In plain terms: I use your information because you've asked me to — for example, when you get in touch or subscribe — and because it's reasonable and necessary to respond to you and run the work. Where anything relates to your health, I only use it with your clear consent, so that I can look after you properly.
How long I keep itAs long as it's reasonably needed, and no longer.
I only keep your information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry emails and client correspondence are generally retained for up to six years, unless you ask for them to be removed sooner or I am legally required to keep them for longer.
Your rightsSee it, correct it, delete it, or change your mind. Email me and it's done.
Your information is yours. You can ask to see what I hold, ask me to correct or delete it, change your mind and withdraw consent, or object to how it's used — just email me and I'll sort it. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
Cookies and advertisingEssential ones keep the site working. There is one advertising cookie, and you can switch it off here.
Essential cookies keep this website working. They don't identify you, and the site can't run without them.
Beyond those there is one advertising cookie: the Meta pixel. I run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and this is how I can tell whether they reach anyone and whether people go on to book. It shares the fact of your visit with Meta, who may connect it to your account there. What comes back to me is numbers, never names.
It loads when you arrive. If you would rather it did not, switch it off below and it will not load again on this device — nothing is set, nothing is shared, and the site works exactly the same either way.
You can change that whenever you like — or email me at hello@thefreedomframework.co.uk and I'll sort it.
ComplaintsCome to me first if you can. You also have the right to go to the ICO.
If you have any concerns about how your information has been handled, I'd always appreciate the opportunity to resolve them first, so please do come to me. You also have the right to raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
